All team members of the GSE team enthusiastically embraced the program and assisted throughout the afternoon. The Rotary Club members were most impressed by these actions and very much appreciated the involvement. Well done Team !!
The Rotary Foundation’s Group Study Exchange (GSE) program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for businesspeople and professionals. The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits in paired areas of different countries. Team members experience the host country's culture and institutions, observe how their vocations are practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas.

Team helps with the 'feeding of the children' at Cogon Elementary School, Bohol.
On Wednesday 16th February, the team was invited by President Nila Montero (RC Tagbilaran) to assist with one of their major community projects of 'feeding the children'. This marvelous program is funded by the Rotary club and co-ordinates a women's association who make the food each week. The food is especially nutritious and the children love these Rotary visits, which involve one school per week. During the food distribution, the Rotarians spend several hours at the school talking to the children about traffic safety and a 'wash hands campaign'. The school authorities are most co-operative with this program and are thankful for the Rotary support in helping underprivileged families.

What a buzz guys. To be involved in a Rotary project such as this is true International Understanding and Friendship. GSE is not just singing and dancing and food after all!
